Who Are We?:

MentorIT Academy, the first CiC organisation that has been created to provide a truely holistic approach to Mentoring, Training, and Employment Skills; which was born out of our (BVYC CiC Ltd:Parent Organisation) need, to meet all the needs of our Young People, who find themselves excluded.

BVYC CiC Ltd, was originally set-up to meet the needs of the disadvantage/excluded young people in 2002, and used 'Performing Arts' (very successfully), as the engagement tool to reach these young people.

We have set ourself the challenge of 'Changing Exclusion Into Inclusion', for our young people, with a targetted age range of 14-25 we firmly believe that we are at a pivitol momemt in our society, with regards to achieving this vision. Overal MentorIT Academy aims to meet a variety of needs which directly benefit the young people and enable them to enter the journey of becoming included into society in a very a very positive way which demonstrates to this society their potential and desire to reach their potential and help others in the process.

What makes us different?:

We believe that our model differenciates us from what is currently on offer, however our model also allows us to work in partnership with other APOs (Alternative Provision Organisations), complimenting and enhancing the services provided to the young people.

We are very driven and pragmatic individuals, who above all have the young people's heart; and a desire to ensure that our legacy for our future is given the best and most rewarding opportunity to meet their full potential in today's society.

At the end of this process we will offer those who show an interest in working with us; in a paid role; the opportunity of employment, thus closing the circle of inclusion.
